Solar Case Study: SDG&E’s Successful Partnership Sees Solar Projects and Manufacturing Spring Up Locally

On Thursday, July 19, join SEPA for an educational webinar featuring the innovative partnership between SDG&E and Soitec in bringing utility-scale solar power to the San Diego region.   In this special webinar, we will hear about SDG&E’s commitment to helping ensure a sustainable solar future for its customers, including its selection of Soitec’s highly efficient Concentrix CPV technology for 155MW of CPUC approved energy contracts.  Soitec will provide us with insight on its decision to enter the U.S. solar market and to locate its North American Solar Manufacturing Facility in San Diego.  We will also learn about the positive impact of the manufacturing facility on the regional economy and the local community, and will provided with details on the new manufacturing facility, scheduled to be operational end of 2012.  Don’t miss out on hearing about this successful solar partnership.
